To put it simply, it's about providing liquidity for USDf on Pendle.
Unlike buying YT, your principal is guaranteed, and you can also earn interest.
When you buy YT-USDf on Pendle, the price tends to drop as the maturity date approaches, which doesn't feel great.
You take on the risk to collect miles, but if you don't make it into the rankings, it just becomes worthless.
However, if you provide liquidity to the USDf pool on Pendle, the story changes.
Here, the principal, which is PT, and the interest, which is YT, are separated, allowing for a relatively stable LP based on the principal token.
So, there's no maturity risk like with YT.
Not only is it safe, but the interest earnings are also impressive.
You can earn interest from both the basic PT yield and the Pendle LP interest, effectively doubling your returns.
